In an effort to increase participation and collaboration in Mason Homecoming celebrations annually, registered student organizations (RSOs) are encouraged to host Homecoming events. Funding requested specific to Homecoming will count toward your academic year allotment for your RSO, with respect to your tier. Deadline for SFB requests is December 1, 2023.
Process and Rules
Applications for Homecoming event funding will be allocated as part of the tier level limit for your RSO (Tier 1: $3,000, Tier 2: $6,000) per academic year.
Follow the standard application for funding as outlined on the SFB website, noting that the deadline for any events occurring during Homecoming is December 1, 2023. Any events bringing an off campus vendor/performer, will also need to have a contract request form submitted to Mason360 by December 1, 2023.
