COVID-19 event guidelines

At George Mason University, we take event safety very seriously.  Because we care about keeping our students and staff healthy, we adhere to all Commonwealth COVID-19 safety guidelines.  To learn more about Mason’s Safe Return to Campus initiative, go to Mason’s Safe Return To Campus.

Inclement weather policy
  • We have in-person events which will mostly be outdoors.
  • We will watch the weather for all of our in-person events and determining the best course of action, ideally 24 hours in advance of the anticipation of inclement weather.
  • Announcements regarding inclement weather will be posted on this website

    as well on Mason360 and social media channels regarding any weather delays, postponements, or cancellations.

  • Follow @masonpatiots and @gmu_pac on Twitter and Instagram to keep up to date on any weather-related changes to Homecoming events.
Who can sign up for Homecoming events?

Students, faculty, and staff can register for any of our Homecoming events by going to http://cglink.me/2d7/r906705 or by going to Mason360.gmu.edu and typing Homecoming in the search bar. 

Alumni can register for Homecoming events by going to https://homecoming.gmu.edu/alumni/

At this time, anyone not already affiliated with Mason as a student, faculty, staff, or alum may not register for Homecoming events, in-person or virtually.
